Meet our PastorI Corinthians 12:4-6 reads, "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work."
Pastor Willie J. Barber II, Senior Pastor at Prospect A.M.E. Church, lives and leads with this biblical principal in mind. The church's mission statement is "Helping disciples find purpose in the community of Christ." He says we were each made for a particular purpose, and as disciples, we all play a role in advancing the kingdom. |
Even as we are confronting a time of many challenges in our society and culture during a season of greater national and global adversity, he believes these insurmountable obstacles evoke great opportunity to remind us that we must be resolute and ask ourselves the question: “Is there anything too hard for God?”
