Helping Souls to find Purpose in God through a Greater Community
Prospect AME Church’s Hispanic Community outreach proposal is a movement to help the Hispanic community in need and touch their lives by providing services and programs to support the church’s mission. God uses his children to bring others to Christ. Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:21
This plan will provide opportunities for the Hispanic community to experience Prospect AME Church whether they are members or not. Prospect will invite the families, neighbors and friends to various events. These important events, seminars, and services will offer a safe environment for people to build trust with our church and provide more opportunities to invite them to Christ and to become members.
Objectives:
• To reach people in our community to provide ministry services.
• To provide bible study, language classes, and educational resources for those in our Hispanic community.
• To offer planned programs, services and special events to encourage participation in worship and praise for those in our community.
How we will make it happen:
• Partner with bilingual and Hispanics to help decrease language barriers.
• Establish where and when classes will be held
• Establish The Hispanic Community Committee. Solicit volunteers to work with the group.
